Needle-punch felt is widely used as automotive interior and trunk carpet, acoustic and soundproofing layers for vehicles and rooms, air and water filtration media, furniture and mattress underlayers, garment interlining, footwear linings, and gardening & geotextile fabric. Weights of 150–300 g/m² suit interlining and filtration; 300–600 g/m² suit carpet, acoustic panels and geotextile.
